TES TECHNIFOR: Our History and Expertise in Specialist Construction
The story of a family united by a passion for special construction works.
Today, TES TECHNIFOR is a recognised specialist in special construction works across the Grand Est region and north-eastern France. The family-owned company was founded in 1982 in Toul by Patrick CHAMPLON and his wife, Marie-José CHAMPLON.
Originally, T.E.S. – Travaux Entretien Subaquatiques – specialised in underwater operations, as well as concrete cutting and controlled demolition works.
Over the decades, the company has developed new expertise in special foundations, drilling, structural strengthening and repair, as well as concrete sawing and core drilling.

1999
The company moved to new premises in Gondreville, Lorraine, at the heart of the Grand Est region. Lilian CHAMPLON, the eldest son of Patrick and Marie-José CHAMPLON, joined the company and contributed to the development of its activities.
The addition of new expertise also led to an evolution of the company’s identity: SARL TES-TECHNIFOR, standing for Travaux Entretien Subaquatiques and TECHNIque de FORage (drilling technology).

Jordan CHAMPLON, the second son, joined the company after spending three years in Shanghai working on the construction of logistics warehouses.
A structural engineer by training, he strengthened TES TECHNIFOR’s expertise in structural assessment, structural analysis and design, strengthening solutions, prestressing, special foundations and specialist construction works.

More than 40 years after its creation, TES TECHNIFOR specialises in special construction works, combining complementary areas of expertise that enable the company to work on both existing structures and new-build projects.
The company operates in particular in the following areas:
- Special foundations: Type II, III and IV micropiles, ground anchors, underpinning and strengthening of existing foundations;
- Concrete sawing, core drilling and cutting, including heavily reinforced structures, thick concrete sections and complex configurations;
- Structural strengthening and repair using steel solutions, carbon-fibre composites and shape memory steel;
- Controlled demolition and robotic demolition using Brokk robots;
- Resin and cement grout injection, crack repair and structural repair;
- Structural assessment, engineering studies and design of strengthening solutions.
Based in Gondreville, near Nancy, TES TECHNIFOR operates primarily throughout the Grand Est region and north-eastern France, particularly in Nancy, Metz, Reims, Strasbourg and Colmar.
