Definition
Flexible sheet product formed of woven carbon fibers, whose tensile strength is less than a pultruded strip; used in particular for reinforced concrete structure repair for shear force reinforcement, column confinement and possibly flexural reinforcement. Carbon fiber fabrics being sensitive to crimp, their use should be avoided for flexural reinforcement.
