Or gunite, is concrete projected onto a support by any form of jet. Concrete can be sprayed by dry process (wetting of the concrete at the nozzle outlet) or by wet process (wetting of the concrete during mixing). Shotcrete is used in underground works, in projection on slopes, diaphragm walls or Berlin walls, repair of damaged concrete, reinforcement of existing structures, etc.
