Description
This new process allows the treatment of structures, in reinforced or prestressed concrete, showing excessive deformation or a very significant lack of rigidity. It generates a counter-deflection strongly reinforcing the concrete structural element. This device allows the treatment of many cases of damage on concrete beams and slabs.
Unlike passive carbon fiber reinforcement, this process is excellent for treating problems of excessive deformations or deflections on an existing structure.
This process is mainly used to reinforce beams and floor slabs of all types, bridge decks, or to band reservoirs or silos. This type of reinforcement allows:
- Increased strength
- Reduced deformation
- Reduced cracking
- Reduced fatigue
