At the Domaine de Wendel in Hayange, TES TECHNIFOR is working on the construction of a lift shaft within an existing building steeped in history.
This week, TES TECHNIFOR’s teams worked at the Domaine de Wendel in Hayange to create a lift shaft, in partnership with GTM.
Located at the very centre of the building, the work required millimetre precision. This demanding technical operation was carried out within an existing structure, where every structural constraint had to be carefully managed.
The project forms part of the redevelopment of the Domaine de Wendel, led by Histoire & Patrimoine, bringing new life to an iconic local heritage site.
Giving older buildings a second life is also part of the purpose of specialist construction works.
