For the underpass widening project under the main runway of EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, extension works to cover the RD12bis1 departmental road were essential. This project required the 30-metre extension on both sides of the existing reinforced concrete structures.
Our team intervened with precision to carry out 320 core drillings of 180 mm diameter, inclined at 30% and 1 metre deep through the tunnel walls. This operation cleared the passage for ties installed by the drilling rigs, ensuring the strength of the structure.
