Description

TES TECHNIFOR carries out reinforced concrete sawing, core drilling and cutting works for the alteration, renovation and restructuring of existing buildings and structures. Our teams undertake the creation of floor openings, doorways and wall openings, service penetrations, cutting of slabs and walls, trimming of structural elements, and selective demolition of reinforced concrete structures. With a comprehensive range of diamond sawing and drilling equipment, we can work on heavily reinforced concrete, thick structural elements and complex or restricted-access configurations, providing precise and controlled cutting.

Reinforced concrete sawing

Diamond sawing enables precise cutting of concrete structures while limiting vibrations transmitted to the structure.

Depending on the site configuration and the thickness of the elements to be cut, TES TECHNIFOR uses various techniques:

  • wall sawing of reinforced concrete walls;
  • sawing of concrete slabs and floors;
  • diamond wire sawing for thick sections or complex geometries;
  • cutting and trimming of structural elements;
  • creation of openings, floor openings and doorways.

Diamond sawing is particularly suitable for operations requiring precision, controlled cutting and limited vibration, especially in existing buildings.

Concrete sawing and demolition in constrained environments

Some operations must be carried out in existing, occupied or difficult-to-access buildings.

TES TECHNIFOR has equipment that enables working methods to be adapted to site constraints, including restricted space, difficult access, limited vibration, controlled disturbance and the need to preserve surrounding structures.

Where cutting alone is not suitable, our teams can also combine sawing techniques with robotic demolition, enabling the selective demolition of reinforced concrete elements.

Concrete core drilling

TES TECHNIFOR carries out diamond core drilling in a wide range of diameters and depths in reinforced concrete and other construction materials.

Core drilling can be used for:

  • service penetrations and technical openings;
  • penetrations through walls and floors;
  • sampling for structural assessment;
  • localised openings;
  • preparatory works for structural alterations.

Diamond drilling provides precise openings with minimal vibration and limited impact on the surrounding structure.

Sawing of thick concrete sections

Massive or heavily reinforced structures require specialist equipment and techniques.

For thick structural elements, TES TECHNIFOR can use diamond wire sawing, enabling large sections to be cut where conventional techniques reach their limits.

This technique is particularly suitable for massive concrete elements, thick walls, foundations and major structural components.

Equipment for complex operations

Our equipment enables us to carry out core drilling from 10 to 1,500 mm in diameter, as well as large-scale concrete cutting using diamond sawing techniques.

Diamond blade sawing enables cutting depths of up to 1,000 mm, while diamond wire sawing can be used for significantly larger sections. Larger dimensions can also be considered depending on the specific constraints of the project.

Expertise that goes beyond concrete cutting

One of TES TECHNIFOR's key strengths lies in the complementary nature of its specialist activities.

We do not operate solely as a concrete sawing and core drilling contractor. Our engineering team and site teams also have expertise in structural assessment, structural analysis and structural strengthening.

This approach enables us to undertake complex projects requiring an existing structure to be successively assessed, altered, cut and then strengthened.

TES TECHNIFOR works on industrial buildings, residential buildings, car parks, commercial and office buildings, public-access buildings and civil engineering structures.

Creating openings and modifying existing structures

Creating an opening in a concrete slab or load-bearing wall involves more than simply cutting concrete.

Before work begins, it may be necessary to investigate the existing structure, locate the reinforcement and assess the consequences of the proposed alteration on the structural behaviour of the building.

This is one of TES TECHNIFOR's key differentiating strengths.

Our expertise in structural assessment and strengthening enables us to take a comprehensive approach to projects involving the creation of openings or alterations to load-bearing structural elements:

assessment of the existing structure → reinforcement detection → engineering assessment of the alteration → strengthening where required → concrete sawing and core drilling → removal of the cut elements.

Where structural strengthening is required, TES TECHNIFOR can also install steel strengthening systems, carbon-fibre reinforcement or other appropriate structural solutions.

Concrete sawing and core drilling in Nancy, Metz and the Grand Est region

Based in Gondreville, near Nancy, TES TECHNIFOR operates throughout Lorraine and the Grand Est region for concrete sawing, core drilling and structural alteration works.

Our teams work particularly in Nancy, Metz, Reims and Strasbourg, as well as throughout Meurthe-et-Moselle, Moselle, Marne, Bas-Rhin and the other departments of the Grand Est region, depending on the scale and technical requirements of each project.
